Adirondack House  -  Keene, New York

Built in 2001, this 2,400 square foot single family home is based on prototypical Adirondack Residential Architecture.  It is filled with vernacular features from many of the famous late nineteenth century Adirondack Mountain buildings like the three-part porch, the re-used horizontal pine board wall cladding, the re-used flat panel doors, double hung windows, the fireplace made of boulders and the green color of the building.  The home is designed for a family of four and sits on a beautiful wooded spot surrounded by the Mountains.
