Ski House - Wyndham, New York
Designed by Lester Walker and Built in 1987, this two bedroom, nine hundred square foot house was meant to be a small quaint weekend family home in the Catskill Mountains. Published on the cover of the May 1986 issue of House Beautiful Magazine, this House was built for John Mack Carter, the editor in chief of Hearst Corporation, in the Victorian, Gothic style, popular in Wyndham in the 19th century. The design was converted to a kit house that has been sold throughout the country by Timber Peg Company.
