Cotswald Cottage  -  Woodstock, New York

Built in 2005, this 900 square foot single family home was designed for a client who was enamored with the traditional English country cottage.  Every effort was made to romanticize the building so that it fit the client’s program.  Because of the Catskill Mountain winters, a thatched roof was eliminated early in the design phase, but the stone walls and chimney, windows, doors, trim work and built in furniture were designed with the medieval English style in mind.
