The Highline Building - Meat Packing District, New York City - Jess Walker at Morris Adjmi Architects
The High line building is an 85,000 square foot glass addition to a prewar existing refrigeration building that the High Line Train Rail Track travels through. The ground floor of the building is retail and the existing bulk and addition above is all office space with breathtaking views of the Hudson River and fashionable Meat Packing District below. Completed in 2012, it is now the American headquarters of the fashion company Helmut Lang.
