Streamside Cottage  -  Zena, New York

Until completion in the year 2000, this building was consistently added to.  This 1,700 square foot home takes full advantage of a 60 foot wide adjacent stream by extending the form and program along the stream bank, offering all rooms a view of the water and it’s corresponding wildlife.  The entry side of the house is treated as a Cottage with gardens, picket fences, hedges and porches while the stream side is articulated as a modern glass house.
