The Wythe Hotel  -  Williamsburgh, Brooklyn  -  Jess Walker at Morris Adjmi Architects

The Wythe Hotel is a full service, 50,000 square foot boutique hotel completed in 2012.  The project is a complete rehabilitation of an existing nineteenth century manufacturing building with a modern addition and amenities.  The original building, and much of the fit out, was seen as a found object.  All new design was honestly articulated as new and juxtaposed against the historical industrial language of 19th century Brooklyn.
